Are you stuck in campaign?

Campaign is nothing but a CP (combat power) check.

Since there is no stamina in Lost Sword, your campaign pushing potential is only limited by your team’s power and, to some degree, their levels.

You have to put some thoughts on your team if you want to push story in big combat power deficits and make faster progress.

It is advised to use single type of DPS like wizards only or knights only, because damage buffers in this game often buff a single type of unit.

When it comes to the current best knight team compositions, most of the units are T0, but we will provide alternatives below.

Core units

Dian Cecht Dian Cecht Dian Cecht is the only hard requisite for knight team compositions. She is basically the Galahad Galahad Galahad of knight comps and enables knight DPS characters.

Lohengrin Lohengrin Lohengrin while not as mandatory as Dian, is the best DPS knight without any specific setups.

Her being rear position character works pretty well for a knight teams, because now you can fill your frontline with tanks without losing stats or having a squishy frontline DPS.

Flex options

With 3 more slots open, knight comps are usually more flexible than wizard ones. However, depending where you are in campaign you will lean into specific characters.

For example: below lvl 300, tanks are usually a better choice to push story in big deficit, while after lvl 300 lacking damage is a more common occurance.

Here are some recommendations of strong characters that compliment your team depending on what you are lacking.

Ran character portrait

Ran

Few things to note here:

  • Morgan le Fay Morgan le Fay Morgan le Fay is a wizard, but the strongest damage dealer regardless of team composition in the game WHILE also providing good utility
  • Lancelot Lancelot Lancelot is a very expensive unit, and until you get good gear and dupes she is mostly used as a tank
  • Anessa Anessa Anessa requires a source of freeze to be enabled and dish out proper damage
  • Ran Ran Ran benefits from shock and it’s mostly used at bossing rather than clearing waves thanks to her passive

And what about Palamedes Palamedes Palamedes ? She requires specific setups and we have a tem guide for her if you are interested.

NEO Bedivere character portrait

NEO Bedivere

Dian Cecht Dian Cecht Dian Cecht is the best buffer for these teams, her crit damage increase passive still benefits any unit, and her shields increases your survivability quite a bit.

NEO Bedivere NEO Bedivere NEO Bedivere is a safe pick and usually the most popular one to use as a healer on any team, since she can also act as a sub DPS and CC dispenser.

Guinevere Guinevere Guinevere has gotten more and more popular after her last buff, and her revive can save you on A LOT of situations. It also helps that every player gets a copy for free.

Estheria character portrait

Estheria

Estheria Estheria Estheria acts both as a damage dealer herself and support unit even if she is a wizard. She also provides CC thanks to her fear and healing received reduction for all enemies with 100% uptime on her active skill.

Erin Erin Erin is one of the strongest buffers in the game for ANY team composition, regardless of character archetype. She is commonly used in Raids and Adventure on teams with just one healer.

Claire Claire Claire is a less popular unit that can help on specific bosses abusing her stun when she is about to die. She is usually paired with the second chance card to nuke the enemy after using her skill.

Percival character portrait

Percival

One of the best options for any team that needs a tank is Belsey Belsey Belsey . She provides multiple stuns and also applies debuffs to all enemies.

Both Kay Kay Kay and Percival Percival Percival are less popular but still viable options to soak up damage on both waves of enemies and bosses.

Dian Cecht positioning

If you are running 1-2-2 or 2-2-1 (Back/Mid/Front) formation make sure to place Dian Cecht Dian Cecht Dian Cecht in the bottom row of mid lane. You want her to avoid getting hit whenever possible, because she can’t shield herself, making her the weak link of the chain.

Putting her on bottom row makes her 4th or 3rd (depending on formations mentioned before) target excluding randomness caused by knockback.
