Spenders guide

Before you spend

Be careful spending money

AFK type games are a sinkhole for players to throw money in hopes of progressing at a constant rate. The games themselves are designed to go exactly against that so that money is consistently flowing for them.

MAD has a lot of packages, I’m going to cover what I personally buy as a light spender, if you’re a whale you probably don’t need this guide.

Also, since the game is not out in global yet, I’m using my own terminology for a lot of stuff. When global comes out, I will update all guides to include proper names.

Monthly cards

make drama: mad monthly cards

Like any gacha game, the best way to spend money is always the monthly (in this case multiple) card. This game has 3 of them:

  • Gems: 200 paid gems when you buy it, 100 gems daily
  • Stamina: 240 when you buy it, 120 daily
  • Resource stamina: 100 when you buy it, 50 daily

Guaranteed 3-star banner

make drama: mad guaranteed 3-star banner

A really good deal for new accounts, for 600 paid gems (about $5 for new accounts) you can guarantee a 3-star unit.

If you are a low spender it’s a good way of filling your roster initially.

This banner is only available for a week after you create your account, so if you plan on spending, don’t forget about it.

Beginner packs

make drama: mad beginner packs

One time packages for new accounts, and honestly for the price they’re all really good. Conversion to USD (hopefully global gets similar prices):

  1. x5 standard and x5 rate-up pulls for $2
  2. x10 standard and x10 rate-up pulls for $6
  3. x20 standard and x20 rate-up pulls for $13

Battle pass

make drama: mad battle pass

There are two battle passes you can buy, a level pass and the usual monthly battle pass most gacha games tend to have.

The level pass is good to buy, but no need to get it early, you can wait until you can get more gems or you really need them for specific banners.

The normal battle pass, considering the price (around $6 give or take) it’s pretty decent for the amount of materials and pulls it has to offer.

There are a few monthly/weekly packs that are not bad, but I would consider that already going over the “light spending” scope of this guide.

If the game adds skins or other good offers in the future, I will update this guide.
