AFK type games are a sinkhole for players to throw money in hopes of progressing at a constant rate. The games themselves are designed to go exactly against that so that money is consistently flowing for them.
Trickcal: Chibi Go! (Trickcal RE:VIVE) has a lot of packages, so I’m going to cover what I personally buy as a light spender, if you’re a whale you probably don’t need this guide.
Just remember that packs with
Ultra Pastel
Ultra Pastel Description Crayons used to unlock character board nodes, making your Apostles stronger. have more value than anything else.

The game has four monthly cards and I would recommend getting all of them to be honest.
Two of them will provide premium currency while the other two give
Candy
Candy Description Basic stamina used for campaign stages and events. and
Star Candy
Star Candy Description Basic stamina used for resource stages. .
Discounted singles

Each banner in the game has a “discounted” version you can purchase for 30 paid Leafs daily. This is a good way of building Devotion for future banners and you can do all of them with the monthly cards.
Cheap singles + stamina

On the premium Crystal Leaf Shop, there are two packs I recommend buying daily:
Candy
Candy Description Basic stamina used for campaign stages and events. for 50 Leafs
Star Candy
Star Candy Description Basic stamina used for resource stages. for 50 LeafsEven if you buy all monthly cards, you can’t sustain both discounted singles and the ones in the Premium shop.
For spenders you should do both daily. For light spenders, I personally prefer the packages since you can save the tickets for the future and stamina is tied to account level / farming stages.
It’s preference at the end of the day and how much you are willing to spend.

Like most gachas, the battle pass provides you with pulls and a lot of resources that you need to build your characters, worth getting the base battle pass.
The “premium” battle pass gives you 800 extra gems, decorations for your room and usually an animated frame. Up to you if it’s worth the increase in price, or you want to get the monthly cards instead.
The second type of battle pass gives a skin and a lot of resources. For light spenders, this is where I would recommend stopping (4 monthly cards + 2 battle passes) since it’s a lot of “value”.
They have started doing event battle passes that include minor cosmetics (title, name effects, idle rewards decorations, etc.) that are pretty nice and cheaper.
Also recommended to buy for the extra resources if global gets them.

Honestly a really good “deal” for spenders, since you can guarantee an Eldain selector for 3,000 paid gems.
There are multiple packs in the shop giving resources + paid gems, making this a great early pick to increase your roster with some of the strongest units in the game.

I know a lot of people don’t want to spend gems here, but this an actual good QoL you can get with free gems.
This house update gives you +2 favorite Apostle slots and a personal maid that will clear all your friend houses with one button.
That alone is worth the gems, since it will save you a lot of time instead of having to clear 30 rooms manually.

Skins also include 100 extra
Star Candy
Star Candy Description Basic stamina used for resource stages. and room decorations, so this is the best way of supporting the developers while getting something you can really enjoy without gambling.
Skins are not limited in Trickcal so you can buy them anytime you want. The only “limited” skins are the battle pass ones.
Battle pass skins will come back later as standalone purchase WITHOUT any of the extra resourcces, but costing the same. So grab them while they have the battle pass version if you like them.
Everything else not mentioned here already goes into whaling territory considering that if you get all monthly cards + battle passes is already a lot (by my standards at least lmao).
The only thing to remember outside these packs is that Korean bros always prioritize buying packs that include
Ultra Pastel
Ultra Pastel Description Crayons used to unlock character board nodes, making your Apostles stronger. above everything else.
Packs that include gear backpacks are also pretty good to build up your account and get passive stats.
